The EntrepreneuHER Reentry Program has officially expanded nationwide through the Edovo platform, making our entrepreneurship education accessible to justice-involved women across correctional facilities throughout the United States. As part of this expansion, we launched the Entrepreneur Certification Program, specifically designed for justice-impacted women. Within the first two weeks of launch, over 1,700 students enrolled, highlighting strong demand for accessible, skills-based entrepreneurship education in correctional settings, including initiatives like Harris County Reentry. This milestone represents a significant step in scaling our mission and increasing access to education that supports successful reentry and long-term economic stability, ultimately offering second chances to those who need it most.
On January 28, 2026, the EntrepreneuHER Reentry Program launched the Women’s Financial Literacy Certification on Edovo, enhancing our educational offerings to equip justice-involved women in Harris County Reentry with critical financial skills essential for a successful reentry. As of April 1, 2026, over 1,843 participants have enrolled, and 739 have successfully completed the certification. This early engagement underscores the importance of targeted financial education within Harris County Reentry initiatives, addressing the crucial needs for effective money management, decision-making, and building financial confidence—ultimately paving the way for second chances in entrepreneurship.
We extend our gratitude to the CenterPoint Energy Foundation for the $5,000 grant awarded on February 11, 2026, to support the EntrepreneuHER Reentry Program. This funding enhances our entrepreneurship and financial literacy initiatives specifically tailored for justice-involved women, including those who are currently incarcerated and those who have been released. The check presentation occurred at the Harris County Jail – Women’s Empowerment Center, emphasizing the significance of our pilot programming in workforce development and reentry education. This generous support will improve program delivery, participant resources, and post-release assistance for women pursuing second chances as they reintegrate into the community.
